Most laptop failures don't happen suddenly. They're preceded by warning signs that, if caught early, are far cheaper and faster to fix than waiting for a full breakdown.
The signs worth acting on
Fans running loud even during light use, the laptop getting hot on your lap, random restarts or freezes, a battery that drains within an hour or two, a noticeably slower start-up over a few months, the trackpad or keyboard becoming unresponsive, and repeated 'disk error' or blue-screen messages.
Why early action saves money
A failing fan or thermal paste issue is a quick, affordable fix. Left alone, it can overheat components and turn into a much more expensive repair or full data loss. The same goes for early signs of a failing hard drive, replacing it before it fails means we can back up your data first.
